We are proud to announce the upcoming opening of the SANTACO West Fitment Centre — a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to serving the taxi industry in Western Gauteng. This fitment centre represents a major investment in the professionalisation and safety of the minibus taxi industry.
The centre will offer comprehensive vehicle maintenance and fitment services, from tyre sales and battery testing to Protecoll tyre safety bands and fire extinguisher installations — all under one roof.

SANTACO Western Gauteng invites applications from qualified and experienced Association Members for the position of Fitment Centre Manager at our new SANTACO West Fitment Centre. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the taxi industry.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 minimum; Tertiary qualification in Operations Management or related field (NQF Level 6) advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' experience in workshop or fitment centre management
- Strong leadership, people management and communication skills
- Knowledge of the taxi industry regulations and compliance
- Financial management and reporting experience
- Valid Code 08 driver's licence
Key Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the fitment centre
- Manage staff, inventory, and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations
- Drive revenue targets and cost management
- Build and maintain relationships with association members
- Report to SANTACO Western Gauteng regional leadership
